What is the difference between a 25-ton lorry and a 25-ton lorry crane?
In Singapore, a "25-ton lorry" usually refers to the lifting capacity of the crane attached to the truck, rather than the payload of the truck itself.
25-ton Lorry Crane: Can lift heavy loads (up to 25 tons at a close radius) and transport them.
Heavy Lorry: Refers to a multi-axle vehicle designed for high-tonnage cargo transport.
Can I rent the lorry without a driver (Self-Drive)?
No. Due to the high value of the equipment and the specialized skill required to operate heavy lorries and cranes, we only provide "with driver" or "with operator" rental packages to ensure safety and compliance.
Are there additional charges I should know about?
Yes, standard industry practice in Singapore excludes the following from the base rate:
ERP & Parking: Borne by the customer.
Overtime: Surcharges apply for jobs starting after 6:00 PM or on Sundays/Public Holidays.
Entry Permits: Fees for entering restricted areas like Jurong Island or PSA ports.
